Greater Toledo Heritage and Horizons (GTHH) is a young nonprofit working to support community spaces, heritage resources, and local stewardship efforts throughout South Lewis County. As a new organization, GTHH is focused on establishing the essential systems and tools needed to serve the community effectively and responsibly.
Building GTHH includes early investments in core operational needs such as office setup, legal and financial compliance, communication tools, and basic administrative capacity. These foundational elements ensure that the organization can operate transparently, respond to community needs, and prepare for future program work.
Before GTHH can manage projects, apply for grants, or take on long-term responsibilities such as park stewardship, the organization must demonstrate readiness and stability. Startup support strengthens record-keeping, community outreach, planning efforts, and the processes needed to manage multi-phase initiatives in the future.
As capacity grows, GTHH may support small, mission-aligned efforts—such as basic STEM materials for local student projects or community engagement activities—that reflect our values and help build local connections while larger plans take shape.
Your support for this early phase helps create the foundation from which all future community, heritage, and environmental projects can grow. Thank you for helping us build an organization prepared to serve the region for years to come.
